Aston Martin has been warming up to the successor of the V8 Vantage, now they have revealed its first official images. It is set to make its debut later this year and it looks similar to the car which we saw in the leaked patented filing. The zebra-print camouflage on the 2019 Aston Martin V8 Vantage did it best to hide the exterior but gave away the overall shape of the car. We also noticed slender headlights and unique grille similar to that of the Vulcan. Other interesting features caught in the photos are rakish windscreen, front fender vents and large wheels backed up by high-performance barking system.
The pre-production version of the 2019 Aston Martin V8 Vantage looks identical to the DB10 which was seen in the movie Spectre. It will rival against the likes of Jaguar F-Type and Porsche 911. 2019 Aston Martin V8 Vantage also has aggressive rear end complemented by massive diffuser which is flanked by dual exhaust system. Even though Aston Martin has managed to keep the details secret, it is expected that it will ride on the DB11’s shortened version of aluminum platform. With respect to power, Aston Martin V8 Vantage will be dependent on the partnership between Aston Martin and Mercedes-AMG.
Aston Martin’s DB11 twin-turbo 4.0 liter V8 engine might be used, but it is not confirmed if they will reduce the output. The engine gives an output of 503 horsepower and 695 Nm of torque. If the hardware remains unchanged then one might expect 2019 Aston Martin V8 Vantage will sprint from 0 to 62 mph in 4.0 second before hitting the top speed of 187 mph. There are many things we don’t know about the new 2019 Aston Martin V8 Vantage, but judging by what we have seen till now, the wait will be worthwhile.
