European customers will be familiar with Land Cruiser and in some market it is known as Prado. It has been in market from 2009 and hence begging for a makeover. Thankfully, the new 2018 Toyota Land Cruiser is what we have which we saw at Frankfurt Motor Show. Even though the Toyota Land Cruiser is based on current model, it has gone through some serious changes is every aspect. It has got new headlights, taillights, hood, fender and front bumper. The changes were made to give it an aesthetic look, but to help the driver in maneuvering the big car.
It also improves the engine cooling and couple of inches to its length. In the interior of the 2018 Toyota Land Cruiser there is new dashboard, center console and instrument. An 8 inch infotainment system which sits lower for better visibility along with new trim and control surfaces is present as well. There are two versions of 2018 Toyota Land Cruiser which will be available and they are three-door and five-door bodystyles respectively for European customers. Other options which are available are ten exterior colors, three interior combination and engine options.
The power in 2018 Toyota Land Cruiser comes from 2.8 liter four-cylinder turbodiesel engine which can be mated with six-speed automatic or manual transmission. It produces an output of 177hp and 332 lb-ft of torque. There is also a 2.7 liter gasoline engine which is paired with five-speed manual transmission and gives 161hp and 181 lb-ft of torque. Lastly, 4.0 liter with six-speed automatic and it produces 249hp and 281lb-ft of torque.
