Mercedes UK division is taking orders for the C-Class Estate and Saloon models. The company also disclosed the pricing of these models. The petrol version of facelifted 2018 Mercedes C-Class Saloon is priced from £33,180 whereas the Estate version with same engine is priced from £34,380. There is also a powerful version of 2018 Mercedes C-Class is also available by the name of AMG C43. This powerful version in Estate version starts from £50,875 whereas Saloon version from £49,675. Thankfully, Mercedes didn’t work too much on the exterior tweaking and concentrated on the other aspects.
2018 Mercedes C-Class thus has more efficient petrol and diesel powertrains. Several modern technologies have been included in the cabin too. Willing customers can go for 12.3 inch digital instrument cluster and there is also refreshed infotainment system with 10.25 inch display. The facelifted 2018 Mercedes C-Class is made available with three powertrains in C200, C220d and AMG C43. C200 is available in all-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive system where 1.5 liter petrol unit sits at heart of mild hybrid powertrain. The engine works with belt-driven starter/alternator and is known as EQ Boost. It boosts the output by 14hp to the total output of 181hp and 280Nm of torque.
The C220d, single diesel variant uses 2.0 liter engine that made its debut in the E-Class. The engine produces 191 horsepower and 400Nm of torque. Lastly, C43 4matic uses 3.0 liter biturbo V6 engine and it generates 384 horsepower and 520Nm of torque. The engine is capable to sprint from 0to 62mph in 4.7 seconds. All the powertrains in C-Class is mated with 9G-Tronic automatic transmission. The sale of 2018 Mercedes C-Class has already started and the deliveries will begin from July.
