Nowadays, many customers are concerned about environment thus slowly and steadily they are opting for hybrid and electric vehicles. Gone are the days, when customers would purchase it for to make it stand out among others. Honda Prius is one such example that takes shape of elongated MPV. Unfortunately, first-generation Honda Insight wasn’t a huge success because of its design. The same judgement can be passed on the newest 2018 Honda Clarity. Even though the styling can be addressed as modern, but the shape of it looks weird. It is quite difficult for us to address it as hatchback, saloon or even MPV.

But if we get over the design of the 2018 Honda Clarity, then the real interesting things about this PHEV is revealed. 2018 Honda Clarity is powered with 1.5 liter four-cylinder engine along with electric motor and 17kWH battery pack. The combined of this setup is 212 horsepower or 158kW. Fuel economy rating for combined stands at 110MPGe whereas in petrol-only rating is 44/40/42mph for city, highway and combined respectively. Another interesting fact about this PHEV is that can travel for 47 miles on electric alone. The complete recharging of this vehicle takes about two and half years.

In the video here, Kelley Blue Book claims that 2018 Honda Clarity is completely normal. It has adequate interior space, practical, safe and comfortable. Unique interior is also an addition.
