This January Ford revealed the highly anticipated 2018 Mustang for North American market. It was showcased to the public a month later in Chicago, and now the American carmaker will reveal the 2018 Ford Mustang for Europe buyers. It will make its debut at Frankfurt Motor Show and the deliveries will commence from next year. With respect to visual aspect, nothing much is changed if compared to North American counterpart. Nonetheless, it gets three additional colors which are Kona Blue, Orange Fury, and Royal Crimson and different wheels.
There are some interesting changes under the 2018 Ford Mustang. The 5.0 liter V8 engine has been tweaked to improve the performance and now the output stands at 444hp from 410hp. The engine also benefits from high-pressure direct injection, higher redline, dual-fuel, low-pressure port fuel injection system. This system increases low end torque. The performance details has not been revealed as of yet, but it is expected that the European 2018 Ford Mustang will be little bit faster than its sibling. The V8 engine is improved, whereas the 2.3 liter EcoBoost has been degraded to 286hp.
The new 10 speed automatic gearbox will be made available for engine options. The manual 6 speed gearbox has been improved and now it comes with twin-disc clutch and dual mass flywheel. There are many drive modes in 2018 Ford Mustang such as Drag Strip, My Mode and Good Neighbor. In Drag Strip, fast launch provision is available, and My Mode is customized according to the needs. In Good Neighbor, exhaust noise is limited at particular time of the day so others can have peaceful night. 2018 Ford Mustang also has safety features such as Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Warning, Pre-Collision Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Distance Alert.
