If one compared it with the 2017 model, the price is bumped by $400. The new Mustang comes with 2.3 liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine. The hardware produces an output of 310 horsepower and 474 Nm of torque.
This new standard engine replaces the 3.7 liter V6 engine which developed around 300 horsepower of output and 379 Nm of torque. Even though the new model costs more, it is really a bargain as previous EcoBoost variant was priced at $26,195. Unfortunately, this is where all bargain ends. 2018 Ford Mustang GT is priced from $35,095 which is an increment of $1,900 over last year’s model. Nonetheless, 2018 Mustang GT comes with 5.0 liter V8 engine which produces 460 horsepower and 568 Nm of torque.
It is an increment of 25 hp and 27 Nm of torque. The setup helps the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph under 4 seconds. Lastly, 2018 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 starts from $57,145 and gets an increase of $1,000. It is powered using the same 5.2 liter flat pane V8 engine.
