Dodge have disclosed that the new 2018 models like the Durango SRT and R/T model will be receiving upgrades. It will also get host of factory options and all of them will be provided by Mopar. It kick-off from the exterior such as custom factory stripes on front and rear fascia and follows to hood, roof and tailgate. The SUV will be available in five colors which are Bright Blue, Flame Red, Gunmetal Low Gloss, Low Gloss Black, and Sterling Silver respectively. On the other hand, the stripes are paired with NACA duct hood vent. The price of stripe package for 2018 Dodge Durango is $1,195 and will be available from March.
There are more exclusive upgrades from Mopar such as high-performance exhaust system and others. The said exhaust is made from stainless steel and has 4 inch tips. Apart from the visual aspect, Mopar claims that 2018 Dodge Durango has better flow thanks to performance exhaust and offer enticing noise. The price for 2018 Dodge Durango SRT exhaust is set at $1,850 and will be made available for order from the second quarter of 2018. On the other hand, 2018 Dodge Durango R/T exhaust will have a price tag of $1,595 which is little bit cheaper.
Mopra have also incorporated lowering spring kit that lessens the SUV by 15mm at each corner. These springs have been tweaked to function with factory-fitted dampers. It results in less rear-end squat while in acceleration and also reduces body roll during corners and low noise while applying brakes. The lowering springs will cost $325 and will be available from March. Lastly, there is SRT Interior Appearance Group that is made from carbon fiber instrument panel, Dinamica soft-touch headliner, accent paint on the speakers, and carbon door bezels. The price of this addition is $2,495.
