Pontiac was thrown out of the market by General Motors Years ago. But Trans Am Worldwide made its official debut at NewYork Auto Show by Launching 2017 Trans Am Super Duty. The model is completely based on the Chevrolet Camaro. A complete makeover was done to make sure that it looks quite different and amazing. The changes done are not just cosmetic changes. The company has replaced Fenders, Hoods, deck Lid, Fascial and Rear Spoiler with parts made up of carbon fibre. The use of extensive carbon fibre allows the car to be ultra light which enhances the performance of the model.
Apart from these changes on 2017 Trans Am Super Duty, the tuning company has installed Trans Am Graphics, ground effects package and Michelin wheels of 20 inches. To make the model look beefier than ever, Trans Am installed lowering springs, Optional T-Tops and Anti-roll bar. If you take a closer look at the cabins then it resembles with Chevrolet Camaro. But to make it look different from inside Trans Am has given new gear shifter, painted door panels and leather seats. Trans Am gave the model revamped instrument cluster along with special floor mats.
Now if we take a look under the hood of 2017 Trans Am Super Duty, you can find raw power driven out from V8 engine. This is the new upgraded LT1 engine that has been used here. This helps 2017 Trans Am Super Duty to displace 7.4 litres. They were not satisfied with the output, so they decided to install Magnuson Supercharger of 2.3 litres. Apart from that they also installed ceramic headers, cold air intake and a new exhaust system. The overall changes allow the model to produce a power of 1000 hp and a displacement of 1046 lb/ft. As per the company, they have limited the production to only 50 units. From 1st May onwards the sales will start.
