After the resounding success of the 2016 MX-5, the pricing of the upcoming 2017 Mazda MX-5 was announced. It will be arriving at the US dealership by this month. The specification has received few tweaks. The 2017 Mazda MX-5 incorporates Blind Spot Monitoring System and Rear Cross Traffic Alert as a standard feature. It was present in the previous generation with Grand Touring variant only. The base price of 2017 Mazda MX-5 remains the same at $24,915 and customers can choose from three trims level. These levels are Sport, Grand Touring and Club respectively.
The entry Sport level has black cloth seating, 16 inch bright alloys, shifter and handbrake wrapped in leather and LED headlights and taillights. All three trims have a distinct touch for every customer. The Club level is one of the best trims one could get their hands on. There is red stitching on the steering wheels and on shifter as well on the seats. Other interesting features include Bilstein suspension, aerodynamic extension and spoiler. Customers can also opt for Brembo/BBS Package which is an optional feature. In this one will get BBS alloys and Brembo brakes.
The 2017 Mazda MX-5 Grad Touring level comes with lots of luxury features. The leather wrapped heats seats, headlights and climate control which are automatic, auto-dimming rear view mirror, sound dampening soft top are few to name. North American bound 2017 Mazda MX-5 is powered with Skyactiv-G 2.0 liter engine that is paired with six speed manual transmission. The setup produces an output of 155 horsepower.
